We are looking for an experienced, dependable Dairy Manager to join our team at Sun Fresh. In this role, you'll keep the dairy department running smoothly by maintaining fresh, well-stocked, and accurately merchandised products, supporting teammates, and creating an organized, inviting department that drives sales and delivers an exceptional shopping experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities & Job Duties
- Provide friendly, helpful, and respectful guest service while creating a positive shopping experience
- Keep the dairy department organized, fully stocked, and operating efficiently each day
- Support, train, and coach teammates while promoting a productive, team-oriented work environment
- Assist with department scheduling to maintain appropriate staffing levels
- Order, receive, stock, and rotate dairy products to maintain freshness and minimize shrink
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure proper product availability
- Build and maintain attractive, well-merchandised displays that maximize sales
- Ensure accurate pricing, signage, markdowns, and product presentation
- Monitor product quality, code dates, and department conditions throughout the day
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe department while following all food safety and sanitation standards
- Ensure proper operation and routine care of refrigeration equipment and department tools
- Stay informed on products, promotions, and seasonal items to better assist guests and support teammate knowledge
- Communicate clearly with teammates, store leadership, guests, and vendors
- Support opening, closing, stocking, merchandising, and daily department operations as needed
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety, attendance, and loss prevention standards
- Participate in required training and ongoing development
- Other job duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Required: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Required: Previous experience in grocery, dairy, retail, or food service, including experience managing day-to-day department operations
- Preferred: Experience with ordering, inventory management, merchandising, scheduling, and shrink control
- Preferred: Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and refrigerated product handling standards
