Laborer - Regional Grounds

Summary

This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Sports & Fitness (N921) Branch; Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Recreational Fleet and Family Readiness Support Services (N94); Commander, Navy Region Hawaii, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH), Honolulu, HI. The purpose of this position is to provide labor assistance to the Regional Grounds.

Duties

Summary of Duties: Performs one or more of the following duties: Uses heavy power mowers, adjusts blades, and cleans and oils mowers; cuts trees, using ax or chain saw. Digs ditches and trenches with pick and shovel where dirt is hard and compact and does grading and sloping. Occasionally and for short periods of time, breaks up pavement with jackhammer, mixes and pours concrete, asphalt, and hot mix, fills and levels boles in damaged roads. Performs other related duties as required.

Salary is dependent on experience and/or education. Executive Order 12564 requires a Federal workplace free of illegal drugs.
