Summary
This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - OC/PACIFIC.
Duties
Serves as a member of a performance evaluation team in support of the technical evaluation of over 145 DISN facilities across the Pacific Theater and the West Coast of the United States. Analyzes and interprets complex technical publications, agency regulations, and strategic policies to guide Node Site performance evaluations; develops and proposes new assessment methodologies. Ensures service delivery nodes and facilities meet or exceed metrics in Service Level Agreements, Site Concurrence Letters, and organizational policies; identifies operational deficiencies, analyzes root causes, and recommends corrective actions. Manages the Readiness Assessment and Performance Management lifecycle by developing and maintaining standardized processes for collecting performance data and analyzing that data to identify systemic trends, strengths, and risk factors. Produces and presents comprehensive reports, data visualizations, and executive briefings on Service Delivery Node and Facility, readiness, and operational performance. Directs the data management and organization process by establishing and maintaining structured SharePoint Online libraries for all critical documentation, including evaluation reports, commissioning findings, and corrective action tracking. Assists the branch supervisor in the day-to-day management of QA and technical assistance efforts and other duties as assigned.

It is being recruited under 10 U.S.C. 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system. If you are a current Federal Career/Career-Conditional employee, you will be placed on an Excepted appointment. This appointment does not confer eligibility to be non-competitively converted to an appointment in the competitive service. A three year trial period may be required if you have not previously completed a trial or probationary period in the excepted or competitive service. Telework availability will be based upon the mission requirements and supervisory determination. We may use this announcement to fill additional vacancies within 90 days of the closing date.
