Summary

This position is located in the Property and Supply within the Division of Administrative Services at the Crow/Northern Cheyenne Hospital, Crow Service Unit, Crow Agency Montana. The position provides guidance and technical assistance on support work functions. The position is responsible for assigning, scheduling and directing work activities work pertinent to a variety of property and supply functions. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).

Duties

Maintains stock at/or within prescribed levels and establishes or adjusts stock levels and reorder points using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) principle to assure adequate stock of supplies and materials are available when needed in the proper quantity and of the proper quality. Conducts physical inventories and adjusts and/or maintains inventory and stock account records. Reviews and/or screens documents specifying supplies or materials needed for planned programs or work operations and collates and assembles list of equipment and parts needed for acquisition plans. Initiates, prepares, edits and processes requisitions for stock replenishment. Contacts customers, supply organizations, transportation units and others to obtain material status information, follow up on urgently required items, and/or expedite delivery of materials/supplies. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work. Evaluate work performances of subordinates. Hear and resolve complaints from employees, referring group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints to a higher-level supervisor or manager.

Prior to the appointment, candidates must present two valid forms of identification. If one of the documents is a state-issued ID or driver's license, it must be REAL ID-compliant.
