Job Description

Seeking a candidate with demonstrated experience designing, building, and scaling automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI. This individual will be responsible for establishing and growing an automation program from the ground up, identifying opportunities for process improvement, developing automation roadmaps, and delivering scalable solutions that drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement end-to-end business process automations using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
  • Build and maintain Power Automate cloud and desktop flows to eliminate manual processes and increase productivity.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and prioritize initiatives based on business value.
  • Develop low-code/no-code applications using Power Apps to streamline business operations.
  • Create reporting and performance dashboards in Power BI to measure automation outcomes and business impact.
  • Lead automation strategy, including intake, prioritization, solution design, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of workflow design, process mapping, robotic process automation (RPA), and systems integration.
  • Experience integrating Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, SQL, APIs, and other enterprise systems.
  • Ability to translate complex business processes into scalable automation solutions.
  • Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Location: Minnesota or Ohio expected in office 3+ days in office.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Typically more than two years of applicable experience.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

- Two to three years of experience in an applicable risk management environment.

- Two to three years of experience monitoring, auditing, and testing of investor guidelines, regulations and financial services.

- Understanding of consumer lending/mortgage product/services, business line operations, systems, and associated risks/controls.

- Knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies.

- Self-motivated, able to work in a group as well as independently.

- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

- Proven adaptability to changing priorities.

- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability as project priorities/requirements evolve or change.

- Ability to identify and clearly communicate and document issues, root cause, exposure and recommendations

- Demonstrated presentation (verbal and written) and relationship building skills.
- Computer navigation skills utilizing various software applications, e.g., Microsoft Office, databases and presentations.

- Demonstrates technical knowledge in financial systems, audit tools, and other products including but not limited to: ACAPS, ALS, MSP;  DocVelocity, LDRS, ECM, Hogan, LeaseMaster, Fusion etc.

This position offers a hybrid/flexible schedule which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $66,640.00 - $78,400.00
