In this role, you will:
Manage daily cash and collateral activities for the Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) business across Futures, Options, and Cleared Swaps, including monitoring cash positions, bank activity, FX settlements, funding requirements, and liquidity needs
Oversee high-value cash and collateral movements, ensuring timely and accurate processing of funding, securities transfers, and settlement activity
Manage collateral requirements across cleared derivatives products and tri-party arrangements, including variation margin, initial margin, and independent amount processes
Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, funding discrepancies, settlement exceptions, and other operational issues
Prepare exchange reports and other operational, funding, and collateral reporting for business partners, stakeholders, and leadership
Manage CCP and clearing-related change initiatives that impact the FCM Cash and Collateral Management team
Support audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to internal controls and policies
Contribute to strategic initiatives focused on strengthening cash management, collateral operations, liquidity management, and overall operational performance
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of Capital Markets, Middle Office Operations, Funding, Cash Management, and Collateral Management
Experience supporting Futures, OTC Derivatives, and other capital markets products, with an understanding of the associated trade lifecycle and operational processes
Experience managing complex cash and collateral functions, including liquidity forecasting, cash flow analysis, funding, margin, and collateral management activities
Knowledge of industry regulations and reporting requirements, including CFTC, CME, client protection rules, and SWIFT standards
Proficiency with GMI; experience with Broadridge and cash/collateral management platforms is preferred
Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills, including financial analysis, reporting, and modeling capabilities
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to stakeholders at all levels
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while adapting quickly to evolving systems, processes, and regulatory requirements
Job Expectations:
Ability to work a hybrid schedule
Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
Ability to work additional hours as needed
