About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Associate to support key Commercial Banking transformation initiatives that are modernizing how credit products are originated, managed, and serviced. In this role, you will partner with business and technology leaders to execute strategic priorities, coordinate cross-functional efforts, analyze complex business processes, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and customer outcomes. The ideal candidate brings a consulting mindset, strong critical thinking skills, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to learn how business strategy, operations, technology, and risk management come together to drive business results.
In this role, you will:
Support the successful delivery of strategic Commercial Banking initiatives by coordinating workstreams, managing dependencies, tracking milestones, and driving execution across business and technology teams.
Partner with program leaders, workstream owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate planning activities, monitor progress, identify risks and issues, and support timely resolution of delivery challenges.
Lead and coordinate project management activities, including status reporting, action item tracking, governance routines, meeting facilitation, executive communications, and preparation of materials for leadership review.
Analyze business processes, operational impacts, and technology enhancements to identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, risk reduction, and enhanced customer outcomes.
Support change management and business readiness activities by helping stakeholders understand impacts, preparing communications, coordinating implementation activities, and promoting successful adoption of new processes and capabilities.
Monitor key performance indicators, project deliverables, and execution metrics to evaluate progress, support decision-making, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Collaborate with business, operations, risk, technology, finance, and change management partners to coordinate complex initiatives and drive execution across multiple teams.
Exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in Commercial Banking products, lending operations, policies, procedures, and enterprise change delivery practices.
Identify, escalate, and help mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies to support successful initiative execution and achievement of business outcomes.
Quickly develop an understanding of Commercial Banking transformation initiatives and the business outcomes they support.
Demonstrate the ability to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and business partners.
Take initiative to identify, track, and follow up on action items, risks, issues, and dependencies.
Develop strong project management and change delivery skills through hands-on participation in strategic initiatives.
Conduct impact assessments to identify business process, technology, operational, and stakeholder impacts resulting from planned changes.
Assist in the development and execution of business readiness plans, including communications, training, implementation support, and adoption activities.
Apply critical thinking to analyze challenges, synthesize information, and recommend practical solutions.
Build trusted relationships with business and technology partners through collaboration, responsiveness, and reliability.
Produce clear, concise communications, presentations, and executive-ready materials.
Continuously expand knowledge of Commercial Banking operations, credit processes, and technology capabilities to support effective execution.
Demonstrate accountability, adaptability, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Conduct impact assessments to evaluate how business, process, technology, and policy changes affect stakeholders and operational workflows.
Assist in the development and execution of business readiness plans to support successful implementation and adoption of new processes, capabilities, and technology solutions.
Required Qualifications:
6+ months of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Teams.
