Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain modern front-end applications, UI frameworks, and reusable component libraries that deliver exceptional user experiences.
Own the end-to-end UI development lifecycle, writing high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and production-ready code while ensuring optimal application performance.
Translate Figma designs, wireframes, and UX requirements into pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible user interfaces that meet business and customer needs.
Partner closely with UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create intuitive, consistent, and engaging digital experiences across platforms.
Utilize AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Copilot Agents, and Generative AI solutions to accelerate development, improve productivity, and build intelligent user experiences.
Design and implement scalable front-end architectures that prioritize performance, reliability, maintainability, and future growth.
Analyze UI/UX issues, customer feedback, and application performance metrics to identify improvements and drive continuous enhancement of the user experience.
Make sound technical and design decisions with a strong focus on customer-centric design, usability, accessibility, and performance.
Participate actively in code reviews and design reviews, incorporating feedback and promoting engineering excellence across the team.
Mentor team members and provide guidance on frontend development best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
Ensure all UI solutions adhere to security, accessibility, compliance, and enterprise development standards.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of shared design systems, component libraries, and reusable UI assets to improve consistency and efficiency.
Stay current with emerging technologies, modern frontend frameworks, AI-assisted development tools, and industry trends, championing innovation and technology transformation initiatives.
Support a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous learning, and continuous improvement within the engineering organization.
Effectively prioritize work, estimate effort, identify risks, and proactively communicate blockers to ensure successful and timely delivery of business objectives.
Develop and integrate frontend solutions with Java/Spring Boot microservices, implementing secure and scalable REST API integrations and inter-service communication patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of relevant experience
- Expert-level proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong experience building responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications.
- Expertise with Next.js, Redux, React Query, Context API, and Zustand.
- Experience developing Micro Frontend architectures, Design Systems, and reusable component libraries.
- Advanced knowledge of Tailwind CSS, SCSS, Styled Components, and Material UI.
- Strong understanding of accessibility (WCAG/ADA), responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with frontend performance optimization, including Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, and code splitting.
- Proficiency in integrating REST APIs, authentication (OAuth/JWT), and secure frontend solutions.
- Experience translating Figma designs and UX requirements into pixel-perfect user interfaces.
- Knowledge of frontend architecture, design patterns, and modern development best practices.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot, Copilot Agents, and Generative AI tools to accelerate development.
- Hands-on experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, and Playwright for automated testing.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar DevOps tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including Product, UX, and Engineering.
- Eight to Ten years overall experience in Java, Springboot, React JS
- Minimum 5yrs of Hands on experience in ReactJS
Location expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
