NVIDIA seeks an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to become part of the Chip System Software team. This team builds Linux platform software for innovative AI-RAN and Software-Defined RAN (SD-RAN) solutions. It develops production-ready software combining NVIDIA technologies with popular commercial Linux systems such as Canonical Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). In the TPM role, you will advise the planning, coordination, and delivery of platform software programs, aligning efforts across software, hardware, customers, and ecosystem partners. This position calls for close collaboration, requiring a strong technical foundation, program management skills, and the capacity to engage effectively with both internal teams and external technology partners

What you'll be doing:

  • Work together with Product Management, Engineering, Customers, and external vendors to gather, document, and rank product and platform software requirements.

  • Develop and maintain coordinated project schedules, achievements, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans.

  • Coordinate activities across Platform Software, Hardware, Silicon, Firmware, Product Management, Quality Engineering, Customer Engineering, and external collaborators.

  • Drive software release readiness, ensuring achievements are met for internal development, customer evaluations, and production releases.

  • Manage dependencies with external collaborators, including Canonical, Red Hat, silicon vendors, and ecosystem partners.

  • Facilitate technical discussions, engineering reviews, build reviews, and program status meetings.

  • Define and monitor key program metrics, deliverables, and executive dashboards.

  • Support customer engagements by coordinating software deliverables, schedules, and issue resolution.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

  • 12+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or Software Development.

  • Experience managing complex software programs involving Linux-based platforms.

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile methodologies, and software release processes!

  • Experience in gathering and handling technical requirements involving several engineering teams and outside partners.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience in working with Linux-based software, embedded systems, or enterprise Linux distributions such as Ubuntu and/or RHEL.

  • Familiarity with kernel, BSP, software integration, and release engineering.

  • Experience in networking, telecommunications, cloud platforms, or Software-Defined RAN technologies.

  • Experience collaborating with hardware and software co-development teams.

  • PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent program management certification is a plus!

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
