Job Description

What we are looking for:

An experienced engineer that is passionate about building enterprise grade systems and applying AIML concepts while implementing the solutions. You're passionate about new technologies and ready to push the boundaries of what is achievable. You're enthusiastic about working in the latest technologies and/or passionate about developing large scale server-side technologies for collaboration platforms supporting rich conversational experiences blended with Artificial Intelligence.

You are looking for challenges and opportunities. You have the ability and desire to bring new ideas. You are a team player and will work with other experienced co-workers to help us evolve the technology stack to build modern and awesome conversational experience for our customers. You must possess a solid understanding of building amazing, performant and scalable user interfaces/servers with large scale data, an obsession with design aesthetics, and engineering excellence.

What you get to do in this role:

Build highly interactive applications that can scale with application complexity. Create tools, libraries, and frameworks for other developers to build upon. Apply new technology and innovation to improve platform functionality with AIML. Write high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes including Code Reviews and Unit testing. Collaborate with product owners to understand requirements and own the code from design to delivery. Design software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs. Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite. Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge-sharing.

Qualifications

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with 5+ years of software industry experience for bachelors.
• Significant experience designing and implementing highly interactive and high-volume applications.
• Expertise in backend technologies: Java, Junit, REST, JSON, AIML and associated concepts. Relational databases, SQL and frameworks like Spring, Hibernate and frontend technologies. Solid JavaScript experience along with python and AIML concepts. Competent in aspects of design, usability, and scalability.
• Experience in ML/Natural Language systems and Large Language Models, including their applications in conversational AI and natural language processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $128,900 - $219,100, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
