Job Description
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Automation Engineers supporting enterprise RPA and workflow automation solutions.
Manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of automation initiatives, from intake and design through deployment and production support.
Drive prioritization and execution of automation portfolios to maximize business value, operational efficiency, and delivery capacity.
Provide technical leadership for Microsoft Power Automate Desktop Unattended, Automation Anywhere, and related automation platforms.
Establish and enforce engineering standards, solution governance, code quality, testing strategies, and deployment best practices.
Partner with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and platform teams to define automation roadmaps and modernization strategies.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security, risk, audit, regulatory, and change management requirements in a highly regulated environment.
Oversee platform operations, incident management, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, scalability, and production stability.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Six to eight years of relevant technical experience
- Five or more years of leading a software engineering team
Skills & Qualifications
Strong leadership experience managing and developing Software Engineering or RPA Delivery teams in large enterprise environments.
Expertise with Microsoft Power Automate Desktop Unattended, Automation Anywhere, and enterprise workflow automation technologies.
Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), automation engineering practices, and enterprise architecture standards.
Experience delivering secure, scalable, resilient automation solutions with strong focus on production support, monitoring, and operational excellence.
Knowledge of Power Platform Governance, Azure Services, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and automation platform administration.
Experience integrating automation solutions with ServiceNow, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and other enterprise technologies.
Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, engineering delivery methodologies, and technology transformation programs.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, strategic planning, and risk management skills with the ability to influence executives and cross-functional teams.
Location expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $133,365.00 - $156,900.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
