Group Details

The Credit Product Team manages idea generation, spec writing, UX/UI design, technology prioritization and the product development lifecycle of all software implementations for the Institutional Credit business at Tradeweb. This business oversees a global electronic credit trading ecosystem comprised of 2500+ firms providing unparalleled access to liquidity and electronic trading protocols. Strong collaboration with client segments, sales teams, relationship managers and technology partners is key. In addition to building and improving trading protocols, the team oversees the creation and delivery of data-driven solutions to the credit trading marketplace in the form of advanced analytics in the UI and stand-alone apps and APIs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the creation of a credit product roadmap and setting of a vision for the credit product direction
  • Originates and manages projects which are global, business aligned or group level initiatives
  • Work closely with clients/dealers to discover clients’ unmet needs; build and maintain trading protocols, balancing buy-side and sell-side needs
  • Work closely with the sales team and clients to deliver data-driven solutions and products 
  • Able to handle projects in two or more of the disciplines (including and not restricted to risk, distributed systems and storage, networks)
  • Appropriately escalates for feedback and resolution delivery on key decisions, financial forecasts and corrective actions when results deviate from plan or process definition, and communicate them to the team
  • Contains and maintains knowledge of PM supportive software tools and systems (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Snowflake/SQL, etc)
  • Demonstrates a a deep expertise of Tradeweb products 
  • Ability to articulate the business needs/values of the assigned projects effectively
  • Ability to manage Global projects involving geographically dispersed teams as well as to work well with other fixed income product areas.
  • Ability to manage effectively across and up the organization
  • Ability to conduct process definition and re-engineering when required throughout project duration
  • Ensure project governance is defined and maintained throughout project duration
  • Ability to present to senior business and IT management along with independently being able to produce presentations and other updates for senior level committees

 

Relationship Management & Communication

  • Provides superior client experience and strengthens relationship with business partner
  • Ensures team management; ability to manage up and down across the team
  • Collaborates and partners with colleagues across the organization to get things done
  • Manages project communications including status reports to all stakeholders
  • Provides Executive & Senior Management with timely updates on project items

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree completed or relative work experience required

  • 8- 12 years of experience in financial industry and in project management or equivalent area

  • Python, VBA, or SQL skills preferred

  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills including the ability to summarize and identify key messages targeted to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to motivate and influence both business and technical communities, as well as consult with and advise clients

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Strong knowledge of technology - financial services experience required, investment banking area preferred

  • Creation and maintenance of shared artifact repository (i.e. SharePoint)

  • Strong analytical and planning skills

  • High level of organization to work on/track multiple initiatives and outstanding tasks

  • Problem solving skills and flexibility in supporting evolution in process, standards, and strategy

  • The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $175,000 to $220,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule.  The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
