About this role:

The Ops and Servicing - Trade Management team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support critical applications that enable Global Operations business processes. This role will drive the modernization and delivery of scalable, secure, and resilient solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and cloud-native technologies while partnering closely with product, operations, and technology stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines strong full-stack engineering expertise with a focus on quality, automation, AI-enabled development, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced Agile environment.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

  • Leverage AI-Enabled Development: Use approved AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and M365 Copilot to improve productivity, code quality, documentation, and delivery outcomes

  • Deliver Quality Software: Build secure, reliable, and well-tested solutions through automation, peer reviews, and adherence to engineering standards

  • Support a Hybrid Work Model: Collaborate effectively in both in-office and remote settings, contributing to team engagement, knowledge sharing, and execution excellence

  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Embrace modern engineering practices, stay current with emerging technologies, and actively share knowledge across the team


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 4+ years of professional software development experience using Java, including recent hands-on experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, middleware services, and application monitoring

  • 3+ years of experience developing modern web applications using Angular, including component-based architectures, reactive programming, routing, and front-end best practices

  • 3+ years of relational database design and development, including SQL Server, T-SQL, performance tuning, transactions and data access frameworks such as JPA/Hibernate

  • 2+ years of experience designing and implementing automated testing strategies using frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Playwright, or similar tools


Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success driving AI adoption and improving SDLC productivity through AI-enabled engineering practices

  • Practical experience using GitHub Copilot, Devin, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar AI-assisted development tools in software delivery

  • Experience developing and supporting background processing solutions, including scheduled jobs, batch processing, resiliency patterns, and high-availability application design
  • .Net experience
