Systems Quality Assurance Analyst / Payments Operations (COO)

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Systems Quality Assurance Analyst to support the Payments Operations functions within Chief Operating Officer (COO). For additional information on lines of business, refer to the external careers site at www.wellsfargojobs.com.

In this role, you will:

• Complete systems testing and create systems quality assurance testing strategies
• Develop a variety of system quality assurance testing initiatives for projects on software systems
• Develop standards and procedures to determine release readiness and streamline testing process
• Document and verify resolution of software and specification defects
• Execute complex test plans and scripts to facilitate testing activities
• Lead implementation of complex initiatives impacting one or more lines of business
• Provide guidance, lead, and prioritize testing activities for projects
• Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements are met
• Work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
• Work with teams to develop testing strategies and provide specific technical guidance on defects to developers

Available Shift: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CT/ET; Monday-Friday

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Systems Quality Assurance and systems or application testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Wire payment background and understanding of the wires workflow
• Financial services industry experience
• Quality assurance and control experience, including audits, process evaluations, and root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement
• Wells Fargo Payments Operations processes and procedures experience
• Wells Fargo Wire Payment execution processes and procedures experience
• Demonstrated experience in compliance, governance, and risk, including escalation processes
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams)
• Advanced Wells Fargo operational programs, systems, and tools, skills such as: Hogan, JIRA, and Octane
• Advanced analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound independent judgment and make timely, data-driven decisions
• Advanced organizational and multitasking skills with a proven track record of thriving in fast-paced environments, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently with minimal supervision, and adapt within structured environments
• Demonstrated experience leading and operating effectively within matrixed organizations, and achieving business goals, while fostering a collaborative cross-functional team-oriented culture
• Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust, foster teamwork, synthesize complex data and communicate information clearly to identify key risks, customer impacts, and financial implications with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
• Experienced in driving organizational change including change management, stakeholder alignment, and readiness activities while effectively delivering measurable, results-oriented outcomes
• Process improvement expertise, including workflow analysis and implementation of enhancements for increased efficiency
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy

• Adhere to standards outlined with written policy as well as applicable State and Federal regulations

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$37.02 - $63.94
