Candidate Interview Guide 

Alma, part of Spring Health, is actively seeking a Lead/Staff Product Manager, Growth to join our Client Experience organization. Reporting to the Director of Product, Client Experience, this expert-level role will focus on acquiring and activating X0,000 new clients per month. Over 170+ million people have access to care through Spring Health and Alma; we want to help them discover and access this care. You will own a critical area of our marketplace across search, care finding, matching as well as the site to enable a high-velocity growth flywheel. 

Please note that this is a hybrid role based in New York City, with an expectation to be in the office 2–3 days per week at our 60 Madison Avenue location. Candidates must be based in the NYC metro area or able to relocate independently within 90 days of their start date. Occasional travel will be required for team on-sites.

What you’ll do: 

  • Drive the product strategy and execution for top-of-funnel member growth, focusing on net-new client acquisition and activation.
  • Partner closely with Growth Marketing to build and enable a continuous flywheel of testing and iteration across marketing and product.Manage and build the marketing technology (martech) stack to support scalable, data-driven acquisition campaigns in an AI-first way.
  • Design and enhance core marketplace and directory surfaces to help users seamlessly find care through organic, partnership, and paid channels quickly.Build a disciplined learning loop that identifies root causes and uses experimentation to adapt future behavior based on validated insights.
  • Utilize AI tools to rapidly prototype, iterate on ideas, and amplify the speed and quality of product execution while augmenting human judgment.
  • Integrate AI capabilities and features into growth products to directly achieve user acquisition, activation, and conversion goals.
  • Execute high-velocity A/B tests to improve acquisition and activation metrics across the end-to-end user journey.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Marketing to deliver high-impact, conversion-optimized member experiences.

What success looks like:

Meet or exceed ambitious targets for acquisition, activation, and revenue.Improve conversion metrics from initial discovery through provider selection and care initiation.Increase net-new member activation rates across organic, paid, and partnership channels.Execute high velocity launches with continuous A/B tests with measurable impact on user acquisition.Improve the integration, speed, and performance of the martech stack to accelerate the product<>marketing flywheel.

What you’ll bring:

  • 7+ years of product management experience with a deep focus on growth, experimentation, and top-of-funnel user acquisition.
  • Exceptional consumer product mindset with a proven track record of scaling consumer-facing or B2B2C products at scale.
  • Demonstrated experience building seamless search, marketplace, directory, and onboarding user experiences.
  • Hands-on experience building and optimizing a martech stack in close partnership with Growth Marketing teams.
  • Strong experience designing and running experimentation programs (A/B testing, cohort analysis, iterative rollouts).
  • Deep analytical fluency, with the ability to construct strong hypotheses, conduct hands-on analyses with data directly, and connect behavioral data to product decisions.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and making tradeoffs between growth velocity, clinical integrity, and user trust.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and clearly articulate growth strategy, insights, and tradeoffs.
  • Experience driving with AI across automations, or personalization systems to improve engagement and retention.
  • Experience working with commercial partnership or payer channels.

The target base salary range for this position is $182,000 - $242,000
