Belay Technologies is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our intel team. We have an immediate need for a DevOps Engineer to support TO-005, Report Authoring and Dissemination (RAD). Efforts will focus on DevOps engineering of a modernization effort to converge NSA’s authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools. Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly one week out of every 4-6 weeks). Staff may charge 4 additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked. Up to one day per week of work from home.

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $240,000.00

- Deploying applications
- Installing and configuring complex software
- Managing network servers and technology tools
- Monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performance
- Troubleshooting issues and outages
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of SWE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
Candidates are required to have the following skills:
- Shall have familiarity with software development/engineering such as requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis/resolution
- Shall have familiarity with developing software with high level languages such as Java, C, C++, JavaScript.
- Shall have familiarity with developing software for Microsoft Windows or UNIX/Linux/Centos family of operating systems
- Shall have familiarity with software integration and software testing
- Shall understand technical writing and have familiarity with technical documents in support of a software development project
Required technical skills include experience with:
Candidates are desired to have the following skills: - Linux
- AWS, MASH, and VMs
- Docker Swarm
- Deployments of distributed web applications (e.g. GitLab CI/CD)
- Terraform scripting and VM provisioning
- Ansible scripting and development
- Thorough understanding of Docker & Docker Compose container technology
- Git
- Python Scripting and development
- NiFi maintenance and configuration
- Elasticsearch maintenance and configuration
- Java / Spring Boot (troubleshooting error logs)
- HAProxy
- MongoDB
