What you’ll do in the role:

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Director, Lead Cybersecurity Engineer in Alpharetta, GA to architect, test, integrate, and deploy Web Proxy technologies. Work alongside the wider organization’s security experts to implement policy-based solutions. Research industry best practices and future technologies with a view on how they could improve our current security posture. Interface with technical vendor subject matter experts and internal squads to ensure the delivery of high-quality secure solutions. Train squad personnel and application support groups on newly delivered solutions. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

What you’ll bring to the role:

-Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

-Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Consultant, Technical Lead, Engineer, or a related role in the technology field

-Requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills:

• Zscaler or Netskope;
• Deployment and migration in Cloud Security products including Netskope, Zscaler or Palo Alto;
• Cloud gateway;
• CASB design and Zero Trust architecture and deployment;
• DevOps operations;
• Data Loss prevention (DLP) and its practical implementations;
• Data protection practices, including Data At Rest, In Use, and In Motion and their practical implementations;
• Web security and cyber-attack vectors;
• Operating in large, siloed enterprise environments;
• Supporting business operations, migration, and integration support on multi-flavor proxy environments;
• Handling both On-Prem and Cloud proxies in enterprise environments;
• Handling changes, incidents and tasks, internal problem records including Jira, and external ServiceNow platform;
• Integrating external services with proxies via ICAP, proxy chaining, and service offloads;
• Cloud security experience including Microsoft Azure Cloud, Microsoft Office 365 suite, and Amazon Web Services Cloud;
• Mitigating web malware;
• Linux;
• Web protocols including TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol), HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol), SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), and TLS (Transport Layer Security);
• Dissecting all 7 layers of the OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) stack; and

Working in DMZ (demilitarized zone) environments including hardware load-balancing, firewalls, and multi-tiered architectures.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $160,000 and $160,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
