Job Description
- Leading direct reports, group leaders and their teams, and serving clients in technical settings, such as laboratories or manufacturing facilitiesÂ
- Monthly meetings with each direct report, the Eurofins department, and client managersÂ
- Disseminate administrative communicationsÂ
- Apply the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibilityÂ
- Financial responsibilities as defined by the Director of the departmentÂ
- Demonstrate and promote the company visionÂ
- Proactively plan and multitask to maximize productivityÂ
- Meet all quality and productivity metrics, and demonstrate strong teamwork and collaborationÂ
- Lead teams, schedules, and train employees in client environmentÂ
- Organize technical resources and staff to accomplish client goals within given deadlinesÂ
- Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operationsÂ
- Ensure coverage and maximizes performance through management operating systems to gain efficienciesÂ
- Assist Director with business operations as neededÂ
- Stays current on relevant science and technology and consults knowledgeably with client contactsÂ
- Ensure adherence to the highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operationsÂ
- Ensure coverage across workload scope and high performance from employees and teamsÂ
- Foster positive team morale and collaboration across all working environmentsÂ
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in biotechnology, biology, chemistry or other science related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experienceÂ
- Business Management education or experience preferredÂ
- 3+ years of hands-on related experienceÂ
- Leadership experienceÂ
- Scientific background preference towards separations and characterizations methods like liquid chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, and spectrophotometryÂ
- Strong leadership skillsÂ
- A good understanding of day-to-day business operationsÂ
- Demonstrate strong client service skills, teamwork, and collaborationÂ
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsÂ
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailÂ
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeÂ
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesÂ
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipÂ
Additional Information
This Position is a full-time position, 8 hour days, Monday - Friday with required core hours between 9:00am - 3:00pm with potential overtime or flexed hours as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Malvern, PA are encouraged to apply.Â
