Duties
Conducts cost analyzes and/or estimates on data collected using approved techniques from various sources to determine baseline lifestyle cost for automated information systems, programs and projects. Compiles data to calculate future life-cycle costs using reports of cost data findings in formats prescribed by the customer. Originates plans and establishes costing policy to assure that appropriate programs, projects and services are accomplished in the most efficient, expeditious, and economic manner to meet the unique and special needs of the organization. Develops cost estimate sources, methods, controls, and projections using a variety of techniques including modeling, parametric analysis, engineering estimates, learning curve, risk analysis, and cost estimating relationships. Prepares and provides comprehensive briefings and presentations on analytical findings and recommendations to the Agency management officials. Performs broad range of analyses for difficult to-define, controversial, new, or novel systems/functions of major agency, national or international impact.

If you are a current Federal Career/Career-Conditional employee, you will be placed on an Excepted appointment under 10 U.S.C. 1599f. A three year probationary period may be required. Telework availability will be based upon the mission requirements and supervisory determination.
