A Day in the Life

The Cardiovascular Portfolio partners with healthcare providers to advance patient care through therapies and technologies that support the treatment of cardiovascular disease. This commercial team focuses on building customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering solutions that help clinicians achieve positive patient outcomes.

Travel up to 25% is required to support customer engagement, business meetings, training activities, and cross-functional collaboration.

         

         

This role is responsible for driving sales performance across an assigned territory through strategic account management, customer engagement, and business development activities. The Sales Representative will work closely with healthcare professionals and internal partners to identify customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and support portfolio growth through a combination of virtual and in-person interactions.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve or exceed assigned revenue and growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, administrators, and key decision-makers through proactive account management and customer engagement activities.
  • Identify, prioritize, and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence and increase portfolio adoption within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct product presentations, clinical discussions, and business reviews using virtual and in-person communication channels.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that address customer needs and support business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, forecasts, and opportunities within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Analyze territory performance data, market trends, and competitive activity to inform account strategies and business planning.
  • Represent the organization professionally while ensuring compliance with applicable company policies and industry regulations.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years, Associate's Degree and 8+ years, or Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of sales, account management, business development, or healthcare industry experience.
  • Experience managing customer relationships and achieving performance objectives within an assigned territory or customer portfolio.
  • Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage opportunities, customer interactions, and sales activities.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% within the assigned territory.
  • Ability to work remotely and effectively manage priorities across a geographically dispersed territory.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in medical device, healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or related healthcare sales environments.
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular products, therapies, procedures, or clinical environments.
  • Documented history of achieving or exceeding sales quotas, revenue targets, or territory growth objectives.
  • Experience delivering product presentations and customer engagements through virtual communication platforms.
  • Experience developing strategic account plans and identifying opportunities for market expansion.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$62,000.00 - $62,000.00

 

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

 

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

 

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.  Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
