Company Description

The Category Space Analyst plays a key role in supporting Red Bull's growth and visibility across retail partners throughout the United States. This position uses market data, shopper insights, and retailer and distributor information to develop effective product placement strategies and planograms that support both business performance and the customer shopping experience. The Category Space Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining planograms, analyzing shelf space opportunities, and providing actionable insights that help field teams execute with consistency and impact. Leveraging tools such as Circana (IRI), category insights, and retailer data, this role helps ensure Red Bull products are positioned for success in a dynamic retail environment.

Job Description

PROVIDES INSIGHTFUL PLANOGRAM SUPPORT TO RETAIL CUSTOMERS

Collaborate with Category Development Managers and Analysts to develop fact-based planogram recommendations for Red Bull Strategic Accounts in each Business Unit

Turn data into stories to draw conclusions, identify opportunities, make recommendations, and evaluate impact for strategic accounts

Accompany Category Development Managers or lead retail meetings regarding space planning methodology and processes

Manage and drive planogram reset projects for accounts by maintaining accurate timelines and resources, working with outside vendors

 

DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN SPACE PLANNING RESEARCH AND RESOURCES

Develop insights-based schematic presentations using external and internal data to help drive thought-leadership for the field

Maintain data driven tools to capture category growth information for each Red Bull account

Conduct new space planning research and analysis, and present recommendations to the Business Insights Team

Develop and maintain Space Planning Tools suite, including but not limited to: product and image libraries, JDA/Blue Yonder tables, labels, highlights, and space optimization calculator

Qualifications

2+ years’ experience in product merchandising, space planning software, or related work experience

Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.  Ability to turn complex data sets into meaningful / actionable recommendations.

Strong track record of Project Management

Ability to integrate multiple tools to solve problems

Experience with syndicated data tools (e.g. IRI, NITRO, Nielsen Answers CORE) strongly preferred

Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present both internally and externally to retailers

Must enjoy working in a fast paced, quickly evolving role

Expert in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Power Point, and Word

Ability to identify new opportunities to support key initiatives / improve existing processes

Self-starter, detail oriented, highly organized, ability to multitask

Strong customer service aptitude, ability to work with all levels of the organization from Field Level to Executive Management

Customer or client-facing experience preferred

CPG industry experience preferred

JDA/Blue Yonder Space Planning Certification, preferred not required

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $72,000 - $108,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
