Job Description

The Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing (BPT) Group is the largest network of harmonized bio/pharmaceutical GMP product testing laboratories worldwide. Eurofins BPT provides comprehensive CMC laboratory services for the world’s largest pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies. The service portfolio supports all stages of the drug development process and all functional areas of bio/pharmaceutical manufacturing, including method development, microbiology, process validation and quality control.

Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Inside Business Development Specialist. This role is a fantastic way to kick start your sales career in the biopharmaceutical industry.

As a member of the business development team, you are on the forefront of biopharmaceutical drug development. We enable our clients to successfully innovate life changing therapies making each day exciting. We forge and maintain relationships to provide comprehensive laboratory services to the world’s largest pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and medical device companies.

Here's what you'll do:

• Partner with Business Development colleagues to achieve annual territory revenue targets
• Proactively identify and engage with potential clients through email outreach, outbound calling, and follow-up communication to generate new business opportunities that align with operational capabilities and capacity
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine their needs, project timeline, and budget
• Educate potential clients on Eurofins BPT capabilities, offering tailored solutions based on their specific product and regulatory phase 
• Manage the full sales cycle including working closely with technical teams to create customized proposals that align with client requirements, follow up on opportunities until closure, and transfer new accounts and projects to Project Management
• Provide regular updates to leadership on pipeline status, and key performance metrics
• Support resolution of service issues between clients and lab operations
• Travel periodically to visit clients and prospects with Regional Sales Managers
• Facilitate on-site technical visits for clients and prospects

Qualifications

The ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or marketingHighly driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a goal-driven environment
• Desire to pursue a career in sales where you are rewarded directly for your performance
• Strong scientific acumen and learning agility
• Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Capacity to learn new techniques, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• Customer service, sales experience, or laboratory experience
• Live within 30 miles of Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000/yr.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
