Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Heavy Travel / Surrounding States)
Pay: $28.00 – $38.00 per hour (Depends on Experience) + Per Diem

A Day in the Life
As an Underground Telecommunications Foreman, you will oversee daily field operations for fiber optic cable installation, trenching, conduit placement, and utility work.
- Direct crew members, assign daily tasks, manage equipment/materials, and enforce OSHA safety standards.
- Coordinate traffic control, road closures, and work closely with project managers, utility companies, inspectors, and clients.
- Track daily production hours, maintain accurate job reports, troubleshoot construction challenges, and ensure projects stay on schedule and under budget.
- Traveling schedule based on project demands (e.g., M–F or 2–3 week travel rotations across Utah and surrounding states).
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in underground construction activities (fiber optic, conduit placement, trenching, or utility installation).
- Ability to supervise crews, manage jobsite safety, and solve field issues proactively.
- Willingness to undertake heavy travel across Utah and surrounding states.
