Marshall Dennehey, P.C., an Am Law 200 civil defense firm with more than sixty years of service, is seeking an experienced construction defect attorney with five to ten years of civil litigation experience to join its Orlando office at a level commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex construction cases for Fortune 500 clients in a collaborative and supportive environment.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced construction defect litigator who is comfortable navigating Florida’s Chapter 558 process. Attorneys in this group aggressively defend architects, engineers, surveyors, trade contractors, and general contractors in matters involving industrial, commercial, and residential projects. You will manage matters from inception through resolution with firm support, substantial autonomy, and the opportunity to exercise professional judgment.

Responsibilities include evaluating liability and damages, preparing detailed client reports, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing substantive and dispositive motions, and managing all aspects of high-exposure construction litigation up to and including trial. These cases will challenge you and require strong judgment, organization, and strategic thinking.

While attorneys work independently on their assigned matters, they also collaborate closely with colleagues and may assist in mentoring junior attorneys within the group. Our department has produced litigators who now lead teams, have become board certified, manage books of business, and handle significant matters throughout Florida.

Marshall Dennehey is committed to helping attorneys build long-term careers, and we welcome candidates who are seeking a “forever home” where they can grow and advance while contributing to the success of others.

Marshall Dennehey offers a competitive salary, multiple bonus opportunities throughout the year, and a comprehensive benefits package. Eligible associates also receive a firm-funded Lifestyle Account through the Marshall Associate Advantage program. The firm is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.

Interested candidates are invited to submit a cover letter and resume for consideration.
