Job Overview 

As a Seasonal Bloomingdale’s Talent Acquisition Interviewer, you will play an important role in identifying talent who can deliver the refined, high-touch service experience our customers expect. In a centralized, fast-paced environment, you will lead structured candidate conversations with warmth, polish, and discernment—evaluating qualifications, service mindset, and brand alignment for hourly roles. Partnering closely with Talent Acquisition leaders and team members, you will help move hiring forward with care, consistency, and professionalism while ensuring each candidate interaction feels thoughtful, elevated, and distinctly Bloomingdale’s. 

 This role may work on a hybrid basis after the introductory period, based on performance, business needs, and continued alignment to Bloomingdale’s service standards.

• Lead structured interviews for hourly candidates with warmth, polish, professionalism, and care. 
• Identify strong talent by evaluating candidate skills, experience, availability, and alignment to Bloomingdale’s service expectations. 
• Recognize candidates who demonstrate hospitality, confidence, personal style, and the ability to deliver a refined customer experience. 
• Capture interview outcomes accurately and provide clear, objective, and thoughtful hiring recommendations. 
• Partner closely with recruiters, hiring leaders, and team members to keep hiring moving with pace, precision, and care. 
• Create a smooth, welcoming candidate journey that leaves every applicant with a lasting, positive impression of Bloomingdale’s. 

Skills that Matter 

 Must Have  

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage candidates and team members in a clear, polished, and professional way. 
• A passion for creating a thoughtful candidate experience through genuine hospitality, respectful interactions, and brand-right service. 
• Previous experience in recruiting, interviewing, customer service, luxury retail, or high-volume hiring support. 
• Ability to conduct structured interviews, assess qualifications with discernment, and make objective hiring recommendations. 
• Ability to recognize indicators of high-touch service capability, professionalism, confidence, poise, and attention to detail. 
• Strong organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple interviews and follow-up priorities with composure. 
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records while following hiring guidelines and processes with consistency. 
• Comfort using Applicant Tracking Systems, interview platforms, dual monitors, and Microsoft Office applications to support a seamless hiring experience. 
• Adaptability, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment, discretion, and integrity. 

Nice to Have  

• Previous experience in recruiting, interviewing, customer service, luxury retail, or high-volume hiring support. 
• Experience working in a centralized, high-volume, or service-focused environment. 
• Familiarity with seasonal or hourly hiring in retail, luxury retail, hospitality, or another fast-paced service environment. 

Physical activities you will perform: 

• This role involves performing essential job functions such as communication, collaboration, and use of office and computer systems.  
• Responsibilities include the ability to access and review written and electronic information, and to move within the work environment and interact with workplace materials as needed to carry out job responsibilities. 
• Frequently lift/move up to 10lbs 
• Requires close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
