About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Recruiting Business Consultant to join our Experienced Onboarding Advisor team within Wealth & Investment Management. This role is responsible for driving strategic advisor recruiting initiatives, supporting the successful transition and onboarding of experienced Financial Advisors, and partnering with field leadership to execute growth strategies that strengthen advisor acquisition and retention efforts. This individual will serve as a trusted consultant to leaders, recruits, and business partners throughout the advisor recruitment lifecycle. In this role, you will:
- Assist managers with moving Financial Advisor recruits along the recruiting timeline and prepare experienced Financial Advisors and the hiring managers for the transition to Wells Fargo Advisors.
- Lead in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Wealth & Investment Management and contribute to large scale planning related to the hiring and onboarding of experienced Financial Advisor recruits
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Lead Wealth & Investment Management projects, teams, or serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals
- Facilitate recruiting pipeline discussions with Market Leaders
- Coach recruits and managers on the firm’s best practices for adhering to Protocol and Non-protocol rules and executing on the requirements of FINRA Rule 2273 and Regulation Best Interest.
- Guide Financial Advisor recruits and their managers through pre-hire activities such as Recruiting Risk Calls
- Performing Product Due Diligence to ensure successful transition of Financial Advisor recruit’s book of business
- Engage partners and building a cohesive support system for Financial Advisor recruits post-hire
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Wealth Channel Development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience supporting or recruiting experienced Financial Advisors within a wealth management or brokerage environment.
- Strong relationship management and consultative partnership skills.
- Experience influencing senior leaders and stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Knowledge of Financial Advisor transition processes, recruiting practices, and wealth management business models.
- Understanding of brokerage products, wealth management solutions, and advisor practice management concepts.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, identify risks, and develop practical solutions.
- Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
- FINRA registrations or industry certifications are a plus.
