TheĀ CoreValveĀ Senior Therapy Consultant achieves sales revenue targets and grows market share for a specified geography by promoting,Ā sellingĀ and servicing MedtronicĀ CoreValveĀ and related products, post approval, while ensuring safe adoption and growth.  The Senior Therapy Consultant practices good territory management with strong organization, administration and expense planning and control.  TheĀ CoreValveĀ Consultant is a partner and resource to the CVG field organization and to Catheter Based Therapies (CBT) cross functional teams, including Medical Education, Marketing, Research, and Development.Ā 

Ā 

Structural Heart Sales representatives must have the ability to travel on short notice, including overnight stays up to 50-70% of the time (geography variability). Territory for this role: Utah/Idaho. Candidates must reside within the assigned territory and be able to travel to multiple customer accounts throughout the region; a valid driver's license, active insurance is required for this role. In addition, the final candidate must have a driving record that meets company standards.

Ā POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Ā 

  •  DriveĀ territory growth by developing and executing account strategies to achieve or exceed sales goals, expand existing business, generate new opportunities, address customer needs, and effectively position Medtronic solutions against competitors.Ā 

  • ProvideĀ clinical and technicalĀ expertise by serving as a trusted TAVR subject matter expert, supporting implant procedures (including scrubbing in, valve loading, and case support), educating customers on product indications and safe device use, and helping sites achieve procedural success and adoption growth.Ā 

  • CultivateĀ market and product leadership byĀ maintainingĀ deep knowledge of CoreValve, TAVR therapies, IFUs, clinical literature, competitive products, and industry trends; partnering with R&D on future innovations andĀ representingĀ Medtronic at industry meetings to build relationships andĀ identifyĀ new opportunities.Ā 

  • ProvideĀ expert clinical and technical supportĀ for TAVR procedures by guiding implant teams, supporting case planning and execution, interpreting imaging and diagnostic data, and ensuring safe, effective use of CoreValve productsĀ in accordance withĀ clinical protocols and IFUs.Ā 

  • PartnerĀ with customers to drive procedural successĀ by delivering physician and staff education, supporting training programs,Ā participatingĀ in case observations and educationalĀ events, and serving as a trusted resource on TAVR therapies, indications, and best practices.Ā 

  • ManageĀ territory operations and account supportĀ by coordinating caseĀ coverage,Ā  maintainingĀ account records, forecasting implants, managing inventoryĀ logistics, securing purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with hospital credentialing requirements.Ā 

  • AdvanceĀ product and marketĀ expertiseĀ byĀ maintainingĀ deep knowledge of TAVR technologies, clinical literature, competitive products, industry trends, and the broader cardiovascular portfolio while providing market intelligence and customer insights to internal stakeholders.Ā 

  • CollaborateĀ across the organizationĀ by supporting new hire training, partnering with R&D on product enhancements and next-generation technologies, reporting product quality concerns, and delivering impactful customer presentations that strengthen clinical and business partnerships.Ā 

  • PerformĀ job duties that require extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday up to 8 hours a day.Ā 

  • OperateĀ safely in clinical environments that may require the use of personal protective equipment and exposure to infectious diseases or radiation.Ā

Required QualificationsĀ 

Ā 

  

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 8+ years OR associate's degree and 6+ years OR Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related roles within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences  

Ā 

Preferred QualificationsĀ 

  • Experience selling interventional or surgical productsĀ Ā 

  • Demonstrated success inĀ previousĀ sales role;Ā indicatingĀ a high levelĀ of sales performance,Ā influenceĀ and selling skillsĀ 

  • Exceptional business and clinical acumen with prior experience leading a sophisticated cardiac or endovascular procedureĀ 

  • Exceptional understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathologyĀ 

  • Interventional cardiac or vascular experience (wires, balloons, catheters, stents) Endovascular - specifically Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR) and Thoracic Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (TEVAR) - or Cardiac surgery, Surgical Aortic Valve Replacement (SAVR) experience preferredĀ 

  • PreviousĀ experience communicating product’s market advantages to physicians and hospital administrationĀ 

  • Successful experience launching a new device and market development experienceĀ 

  • Experience calling on C-Suite customersĀ 

  • Prior experience teaching and educating medical personnel,Ā peersĀ and technical support personnelĀ 

  • Imaging interpretation experience (TTE or Trans Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE), CT, Angiograms).  ComputerĀ proficiencyĀ and ability to perform CT reconstruction with CT programsĀ 

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
