Location: Chicago, Illinois. 

Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 

Job Type: Full-Time preferred (30–32 clinical hours); Part-Time considered (<32 hours)

WellTech Partners is seeking a full-time pediatric physical therapist to join our team of passionate and hardworking team to provide high-quality care from infancy through adolescence. The Role: Your Mission

We are seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide 1:1 direct patient care in a supportive, child-centered outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and eager to partner with families, caregivers, and fellow clinicians to help children build independence and safely navigate their environments.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Direct Care: Provide 1:1 play-based, evidence-driven therapy focusing on muscle strength, range of motion, balance control, coordination, and motor planning.
  • Comprehensive Assessment: Conduct evaluations for children with developmental delays and physical conditions (Physician referrals are not required for patients to start).
  • Individualized Planning: Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each child's goals.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary providers.
  • Clinical Excellence: Maintain detailed, timely documentation and progress notes using EnableDoc EMR.
  • Support Growth: Opportunity to help shape and grow a dynamic pediatric program.

Diagnoses & Areas Addressed

We treat a wide range of conditions, including:

  • Global Developmental Delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Down Syndrome.
  • Neuromuscular Disorders (Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Rett Syndrome, etc.).
  • Hypotonia, Hypertonia, Toe-walking, and Gait Abnormalities.
  • Gross motor skills: jumping, running, stairs, throwing/catching, and sitting tolerance.

Qualifications

  • Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Masters in PT degree.
  • Experience: A genuine passion for pediatrics is required (New graduates welcome). Pediatric clinical experience or fieldwork is strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Experience communicating effectively with families; background in manual therapy, neuromuscular, orthopedic, or developmental PT is a plus.
  • Traits: Compassionate, team-oriented, flexible, and child-centered in approach.
