Speech Therapist (Brain Injury & Neuro Program)

WellTech Partners is working with a neuro program that is seeking an experienced Neuro Speech Therapist to join their clinical team. This role is ideal for a speech therapist with a strong background in adult neuro populations, especially those recovering from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and stroke. 

This is a fully on-site position where you will work closely with our team Psychologist, collaborating to deliver comprehensive cognitive-communication and rehabilitative care.

**Fridays are designated non-clinical days**, reserved for charting, administrative duties, team collaboration, and planning.

Location: Sacramento, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 
(No weekends, holidays, or on-call)

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat adult patients with TBI, stroke, and other neurological conditions

• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on cognition, speech, language, and functional communication

• Collaborate closely with the team Psychologist and interdisciplinary providers to ensure coordinated patient care

• Provide ongoing patient and family education to support long-term recovery

• Complete timely charting, documentation, and care-coordination tasks (primarily on Fridays)

• Participate in team meetings and case reviews to support exceptional patient outcomes
  

Requirements

• Must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)

• Active California Speech-Language Pathology license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Experience working with adult neuro populations (TBI, stroke, cognitive impairment required)

• Strong clinical foundation in neuro rehabilitation and cognitive-linguistic therapy

• Ability to work fully on-site MondayFriday

• Comfortable working in a structured, collaborative, multidisciplinary setting

• No pediatrics in this role
