Youll work closely with licensed Occupational Therapists to deliver personalized, high-quality care to residents in a welcoming and team-oriented setting.
What Youll Do
- Carry out individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Track and document patient progress, maintaining accuracy for clinical and billing requirements.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and team members.
- Monitor patient changes and report promptly to the supervising therapist.
- Support interdisciplinary collaboration to achieve patient-centered outcomes.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal standards of care.
What Were Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current COTA license in good standing (State of California).
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain before start).
- Knowledge of Medicare and other payer documentation standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift over 100 lbs with assistance.
- Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and standing as part of patient care.
- Must meet facility health requirements, including a pre-employment physical.
