HEALTHCARE MARGIN IMPROVEMENT CONSULTING ASSOCIATEĀ 

As aĀ Healthcare Margin ImprovementĀ Consulting Associate at RSM, you will work with various sizedĀ healthcare organizationsĀ across the spectrum of healthcare providersĀ and receive hands-on client experience with direct access to clients at various management levels. At the start of yourĀ full timeĀ position,Ā you’llĀ be assigned a ā€œPerformanceĀ Advisorā€ who will help youĀ establishĀ your career goals.Ā 

RSM’sĀ Healthcare Margin ImprovementĀ ConsultingĀ groupĀ provides value addedĀ business performance improvementĀ services toĀ clienteleĀ and you will have the ability to be exposed to a wide variety ofĀ healthcare sectorsĀ and clients. Examples of projects includeĀ revenue cycle, clinical operations, supply chain, pharmacy, and managed care program assessments,Ā service line optimizations, and implementation of strategic business plans to improve patient satisfaction, and the financial position of healthcare organizations.Ā Ā 

Examples of the candidate’s responsibilities include:Ā 

  • Sit in on client meetings and support conducting consulting projectsĀ 

  • Preparing reports on consulting services performed forĀ clients;Ā delivering reports whereĀ appropriateĀ and discussing results and recommendations with clientsĀ 

  • Traveling to client locations as requested to provide consulting servicesĀ 

  • Completing client projects efficientlyĀ in accordance withĀ the project timeline and critical datesĀ 

  • LeveragingĀ proficiencyĀ in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze client information and document results and recommendationsĀ Ā 

  • Opportunity to attend specific conferences, trainings, & meetings to continue professional development relevant to the roleĀ Ā 

BasicĀ RequirementsĀ 

  • Pursuing at least a B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from accredited university

  • Major inĀ Business, Finance, Data AnalyticsĀ PreferredĀ 

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA preferredĀ 

  • Travel to assigned client locations may beĀ required. Must have access to and ability to arrange for use of reliable modes of transportation to those locationsĀ Ā 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsĀ Ā 

  • Strong computer skills, including MS OfficeĀ 

  • Strong multi-tasking and project management skills  

  • Ability to work as an effective member of a teamĀ 

  • MustĀ possessĀ a high degree of integrity and professionalism  

  • Interested in pursuing certifications in Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), CRCR – Certified Revenue Cycle Representative, and CHFP – Certified Healthcare Financial ProfessionalĀ

The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $63,360 - $75,600
