Job Description

The Corporate Treasury Business Manager is a senior-level individual contributor who partners with Treasury leadership to execute strategic priorities, strengthen governance, support regulatory and risk management activities, and drive operational effectiveness across Corporate Treasury. This role serves as a key liaison between Treasury and enterprise partners including Risk, Finance, Compliance, Audit, Legal, Operations, and Technology.

The successful candidate will provide leadership across business management disciplines, including project and change management, financial planning, executive reporting, issue management, regulatory coordination, and process improvement. The role requires strong organizational skills, sound business judgment, the ability to operate comfortably amid ambiguity and prioritize across competing Treasury deliverables and judgement to escalate risks early. The individual must be able to influence stakeholders across multiple business functions, navigate complex regulatory and business environments, and build effective partnerships that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support development and execution of Treasury strategic priorities and annual objectives.

  • Prepare executive presentations, management reports, dashboards, and governance materials.

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Treasury leaders on business management matters.

  • Problem-solve issues that arise in the normal course of business.

  • Lead coordination of Treasury governance, risk assessments, issue management, and control-related activities in partnership with Risk and Compliance.

  • Serve as the primary Treasury coordinator for audit, compliance, and regulatory requests, including gathering materials, managing commitments, and ensuring timely, complete responses.

  • Track, escalate, and report on action plans and remediation arising from audits, regulatory examinations, risk assessments, and self-identified issues through closure.

  • Lead Treasury business initiatives from planning through implementation.

  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement, project governance, communications, and milestone tracking.

  • Support implementation of regulatory, technology, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Support annual planning, forecasting, expense management, and financial reporting activities.

  • Coordinate invoice approvals, procurement requests, and vendor management processes.

  • Assist with third-party risk management and contract administration activities.

  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong organization, time management, and communication skills.

  • Work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Serve as a subject-matter resource and provide guidance to junior team members as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of experience in project management activities

  • Two or more years of experience supporting Corporate Treasury or related functions, including funding, liquidity, derivatives, investments, balance sheet management, capital markets, or enterprise risk

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline.

  • Experience in Treasury, Compliance, Finance, Risk, Capital Markets, Operations, or Project Management.

  • Demonstrated project management and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Experience working within a regulated financial services environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience supporting executive-level audiences.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of banking regulations, governance frameworks, and control environments.

Location Expectations:

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $133,365.00 - $156,900.00
