About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Aligned Finance Analyst to work in the CIB Markets Finance group. In this role, you will serve as a strategic finance partner to the Markets organization, driving financial analysis, peer benchmarking, and executive reporting to support business performance and decision-making. More specifically, this role will provide support to a particular business within the CIB Markets FICC or Equities platform, reporting to that particular business’s CFO.

In this role, you will:
- Participate in moderately complex initiatives as a technical professional
- Provide a broad expertise and unique skills used to develop company objectives and standards for a specific business unit, division, or product
- Review and analyze moderately complex data that contributes to large scale planning such as economic research in support of management decision making for a specific business unit, division, or product
- Research key forecasting projections as well as management of financial reporting to support monthly and quarterly forecasting
- Perform work on significant and unique issues involving data and evaluation or highly complex situations
- Develop strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning in support of line of business goals
- Lead the implementation of moderately complex projects impacting one or more lines of business
- Establish effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standard and internal control standards
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers in finance and in a given line of business to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Exercise independent judgment while leveraging a solid understanding of the knowledge policies, procedures, and compliance requirements within the function
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills including financial metrics analysis
- Visual/verbal data trend presentation preparation for management reporting
- Knowledge/understanding of report analysis: emphasis on accuracy and telling a story with supporting details
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and work within a team to identify and resolve problems
- Knowledge of Wells Fargo's balance sheet/product offerings
- Experience with forecasting tools Essbase/Dodeca
- Experience with disciplines such as accounting, group controllers, corporate treasury, regulatory capital, financial planning and analysis and/or product control
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
- Knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, AI tools
Job Expectations:
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule from our 150 E. 42nd Street, NYC

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$120,000.00 - $196,000.00
