The Operations Financial Analyst II supports operational and financial performance management by analyzing business results, preparing forecasts, evaluating trends, and providing insights to operational leaders. This role typically partners with Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams to monitor expenses, identify risks and opportunities, explain variances, and support data-driven decision-making.
The Operations Financial Analyst II prepares and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for assigned operational areas. This role will work to identify financial risks, opportunities, and operational trends that may impact business performance. The position will support month-end close processes by reviewing expenses, accruals, allocations, and financial reporting outputs. The role will translate financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders. The position will monitor operational metrics and connect them to financial outcomes. The position will recommend process improvements to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and financial visibility. The role will ensure work is completed in alignment with internal financial policies, controls, and reporting standards.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- 2 + years of experience with SQL, Access
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Preferred skill:
- Experience with PowerBI
Additional Information
- This role is a hybrid role one day per week from the Louisville, KY Humana Waterside building. Applicants should be within proximity of supporting this workstyle.
- You will not have any business travel for the role.
- You will report to an Associate Director of Accounting.
