Duties
The position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Division of the Controller, Portfolio Servicing and Accounting Group, and is under the direct supervision of the Portfolio Servicing Manager. The department is responsible for the accounting and servicing of the Bank's loans, guarantees, and related claims, debt rescheduling programs and certain administrative accounting activities. The incumbent works in various aspects of Loan and Guarantees, Insurance and Claim Servicing Section. This section is responsible for the financial records and various accounting, servicing, and data functions of loans, guarantees, insurance and claims programs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to subledger to general ledger reconciliations for all EXIM programs, credit servicing such as application of funds received, disbursements of loans and claims, billings, interest accruals, accrual, and deferral of fee income, refunding of overpayments, monitoring accounts pertaining to loans, guarantees, insurance, and claims. Duties include, but are not limited to: Performs portfolio servicing activities, reconciles financial transactions, and ensures accurate accounting records and credit balances. Analyzes financial data, performs reconciliations, supports system testing, and recommends improvements to ensure data integrity and compliance. Processes and researches cash transactions, payments, billings, refunds, and account adjustments to maintain accurate financial records. Provides accounting support to internal and external customers, resolves payment-related issues, and manages invoicing and collections activities.
