We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to lead and coordinate all aspects of real and personal property tax compliance, reporting, strategy, and special projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in property tax regulations, assessments, and appeals. They must also have hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO, RE, or Tax modules) to manage and improve tax-related processes. This position demands a combination of technical tax knowledge, system expertise, and leadership abilities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. What you'll be doing:

  • Lead all facets of property tax compliance, encompassing the preparation, review, and filing of returns for real and personal property.

  • Coordinate the assessment, valuation, and appeal process to minimize tax liabilities.

  • Handle Franchise Tax Returns for NVIDIA and affiliated entities.

  • Lead property tax audits, respond to notices, and resolve disputes with taxing authorities.

  • Apply SAP systems to manage tax data, ensure accurate reporting, and drive process improvements.

  • Partner with IT, finance, and accounting teams to maintain accurate fixed asset and property records in SAP.

  • Analyze tax assessments and develop strategies to reduce overall property tax burden.

  • Prepare property tax forecasts, budgets, payments, and accruals for financial reporting.

  • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes impacting property taxes.

  • Coordinate relationships with external consultants, assessors, and taxing authorities.

  • Coordinate the full process of preparing, filing, and ensuring compliance of quarterly Form 720 Federal Excise Tax returns across multiple corporate entities.

  • Manage the annual FBAR reporting process by gathering and verifying necessary information from internal collaborators. Work with external consultants to make sure the forms are accurately completed and submitted on time.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field, or equivalent experience (Master’s or CPA preferred).

  • 8+ years of experience in property tax, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position.

  • Solid practical understanding of SAP (FI/CO, RE, or tax-related modules) is necessary.

  • Comprehensive understanding of property tax regulations, adherence requirements, and valuation techniques.

  • Experience managing large volumes of tax data and reporting within ERP systems.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to lead projects, manage deadlines, and collaborate across departments.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience with process automation or tax technology integrations in SAP.

  • Exposure to multi-state or international property tax environments.

  • Familiarity with business personal property tax and real estate valuation.

  • General sales/use tax knowledge, including prior experience with compliance and tax exemption certification review.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 136,000 USD - 218,500 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
