About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Equipment Finance Underwriting Associate Manager to join our Vendor Finance business within Commercial Banking. This position involves managing a team of credit underwriters who review commercial credit transactions up to $1 million and will have delegated credit approval authority. Additionally, this position has responsibility for interfacing with senior credit management, sales management, third-party program partners and other internal stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Supervise an Equipment Finance Underwriting team in making lending decisions on a wide range of loan and lease products
- Ensure timely completion, quality, and compliance within Equipment Finance Underwriting functional area
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and productivity enhancement in less complex tasks in Equipment Finance Underwriting functional area
- Make day-to-day supervisory and tactical decisions and resolve issues related to team supervision, work allocation, and daily operations under direction of Equipment Finance Underwriting functional area management
- Collaborate and consult with Equipment Finance Underwriting peers and colleagues, to move out routine operational activities
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Equipment Finance Underwriting
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Equipment Finance Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 1+ years of Leadership experience

- Experience with Credit and Risk Analysis

Job Expectations:
- Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule (4 days a week in the office, 1 day remote)
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

Additional Information:
- Minneapolis - Minnesota Pay Range: $110,000-$179,000 USD annually (this range may not be applicable to other locations)

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
