  • Create and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
  • Apply mechanical engineering fundamentals including GD&T, tolerance analysis, materials selection, structural mechanics, and heat transfer.
  • Participate in prototype builds, laboratory testing, design verification, and product qualification.
  • Assist with mechanical failure investigations and root-cause analysis.
  • Work closely with senior engineers to evaluate design concepts and identify technical risks.
  • Collaborate with Electrical, Thermal, Signal Integrity, Reliability, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Support the integration of PCBs, connectors, cables, optical modules, fans, heatsinks, and other components into mechanical assemblies.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute engineering analysis and recommendations.
  • Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to resolve design and manufacturability issues.
  • Support DFM/DFA activities and learn manufacturing processes including sheet metal fabrication, machining, die casting, extrusion, and plastics.
  • Assist in the preparation of engineering specifications, test plans, technical reports, BOMs, and engineering change documentation.
  • Gain exposure to air and liquid cooling technologies used in high-performance electronic systems.
  • Support prototype and production builds and help troubleshoot issues found during assembly and testing.
  • Develop technical skills and progressively take ownership of components, assemblies, and engineering activities.
