Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Project Engineer to lead engineering projects involving production equipment, automation systems, and plant utilities. This role supports equipment installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability, productivity, and operational performance.

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, PLC, and automation issues.
- Documentation: Assist with project documentation, technical reports, SOPs, and engineering calculations.
- Safety & Compliance: Support compliance with GMP, food safety, and regulated‑environment requirements.
- Installation & Commissioning: Support equipment installation, commissioning, testing, and startup activities.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and productivity.
- Cross‑Functional Coordination: Work closely with production, maintenance, quality, contractors, and equipment vendors.
- Capital Projects: Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Equipment & Utility Projects: Lead engineering projects involving manufacturing equipment, automation systems, and plant utilities.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical systems, automation, and PLC troubleshooting.
- 3+ years of engineering experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or automated manufacturing.
- Knowledge of plant utilities such as HVAC, compressed air, boilers, steam, cooling systems, or fire protection systems.
