Fervo Energy is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Shuttle Driver & Site Operations Associate to support daily transportation and operational needs at our Milford, Utah location. This role is responsible for safely shuttling employees, contractors, and visitors between our offices and field/site locations throughout the day, while also serving as a hands-on operations support resource. Responsibilities extend beyond driving to include vehicle readiness and cleaning, coordinating vehicle drop-off and pickup, running errands such as picking up lunches, and assisting with a variety of miscellaneous site and office tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is punctual, personable, resourceful, and comfortable wearing many hats in a fast-paced field environment.

Responsibilities
Shuttle & Passenger Transportation
- Operate the company shuttle van on scheduled routes between Fervo's Milford office and site/field locations throughout the workday.
- Safely transport employees, contractors, and visitors, adjusting timing and routes as schedules and headcounts change.
- Maintain a reliable, on-time shuttle schedule and communicate proactively about delays or changes.
- Operate all vehicles in compliance with traffic laws, company policy, and site-specific safety requirements.
Vehicle Readiness & Maintenance
- Perform routine pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections (fluids, tires, lights, mirrors, safety equipment).
- Clean and detail the interior and exterior of the shuttle and other company vehicles on a regular basis.
- Drop off and pick up vehicles for scheduled maintenance, repairs, inspections, fueling, and washing.
- Promptly report mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns to your supervisor.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logs, mileage records, and inspection documentation as required.
General Operations & Site Support
- Pick up and deliver lunches, meals, and supplies for office and field staff.
- Run errands and make deliveries and pickups, including parts, mail, packages, and office or site supplies.
- Assist with general site logistics tasks, such as staging materials, organizing storage areas, and helping move equipment or supplies.
- Support other departments with miscellaneous operational tasks as assigned.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of shared vehicles, break areas, and storage spaces.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all Fervo Energy safety policies and applicable driving/DOT regulations.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when at field or site locations.
- Immediately report any accidents, incidents, near-misses, or unsafe conditions.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record at all times.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean/acceptable driving record; must pass an MVR (motor vehicle record) check.
- Minimum age of 21, per company vehicle insurance requirements.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and time-management skills.
- Comfortable following daily schedules and routes while communicating professionally with passengers and staff.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle upkeep and willingness to perform routine cleaning and inspections.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic field environment.
Preferred
- Previous experience driving passenger vans, shuttles, or other commercial vehicles.
- Experience in an oilfield, construction, energy, or other industrial site environment.
- Familiarity with Milford, Utah roads and Fervo Energy site locations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30–50 lbs (lunches, supplies, equipment, etc.).
- Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout the day.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as needed for vehicle cleaning and inspections.
Work Environment
This position is based in Milford, Utah, with regular travel between Fervo's offices and active field/site locations. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, including exposure to varying weather conditions and active industrial site activity. The schedule is primarily daytime hours on weekdays, with occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekend availability needed to support site and shuttle demands.
