The Opportunity
This position supports our Madison, WI locations within the Cancer Diagnostics business.
As a Dishwasher, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen by washing and sanitizing dishes, cookware, utensils, equipment, and food preparation areas. You'll support day-to-day food service operations through strong attention to cleanliness, organization, teamwork, and hospitality.
What You'll Work On
Wash, sanitize, and restock dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen items to support continuous food service operations.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, appliances, preparation stations, cook stations, and other food-service work areas in accordance with sanitation and safety standards.
Maintain clean floors and waste areas by sweeping, mopping, removing trash, rinsing garbage cans, and responding promptly to spills or broken items.
Support additional cleaning and sanitization needs while providing professional, service-focused support to employees, customers, and team members.
Follow food-service safety, sanitation, Quality Management System, attendance, and workplace procedures while contributing effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Required Qualifications
Basic computer skills, including internet navigation, email, and word processing.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Strong customer service, communication, attention to detail, organization, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work a designated schedule, including nights and/or weekends, and overtime as needed.
Ability to stand for approximately 90% of a typical working day and lift up to 40 pounds for approximately 20% of a typical working day.
Ability to perform physical tasks including grasping, pinching, turning, and reaching above shoulder height.
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship and demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
One (1) or more years of experience in food service, hospitality, customer service, or a related field.
Working knowledge of sanitation procedures.
The base pay for this position is
$14.85 – $29.65/hourIn specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
