THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISOR HEAVY MOBILE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC T32, PDD2430000 and is part of the AZ 162nd Wing, National Guard.
Duties
This position is with the 162d WG in Tucson, Arizona. The purpose of this position is to exercise technical and administrative supervision over subordinate supervisors, work leaders, and workers in accomplishing trades and labor work of the Vehicle Management Flight and to perform associated nonsupervisory work. The flight is responsible for overall management, maintenance, and repair of the wing's vehicle fleet and account for and maintain vehicle assets so they are safe, efficient, environmentally sound and meet the unit's needs. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
Qualifications and evaluation

Ability to perform work planning responsibilities for the Vehicle Management Flight. 2. Ability to assign and explain work requirements and operating instructions to subordinates and sets deadlines and establishes the sequence of work operations to be followed. 3. Ability to evaluates work operations and reviews completed work and inspection reports to assure that standards are met. 4. Knowledge and ability to ensure safety equipment and protective clothing/gear are worn when mandated by regulations.
