Treasury Support is looking for a Sr Business Systems Analyst for the Treasury Debt Management System (TDMS) business line. Reporting to a Treasury Product Manager, you will serve as a key bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams, and operations. You will analyze complex business needs, translate them into clear, actionable system requirements, and support delivery of high quality Treasury applications that serve mission critical federal programs.
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Create and maintain a comprehensive overview of the system and its functionality, by preparing detailed business and technical documentationÂ
- Analyze complex business processes and present them in an understandable and logical formatÂ
- Recommend processes and procedures to improve the existing systemÂ
- Develop detailed requirements documentation including user stories, use cases, design specifications, business process and data flows and success criteriaÂ
- Be a product expert and assist the product owner with backlog maintenance and refinement, including creating user stories, clarifying defects, detailing acceptance criteria, and data definitionsÂ
- Use knowledge of requirements, operations and engineering activities, and deadlines to communicate schedule considerations and impacts to priorities.
- Participate and help facilitate sessions for planning program increments, sprints, refinements, and other Agile ceremoniesÂ
- Troubleshoot production issues, help validate defect remediation, and work with Treasury end-users towards resolution or workaroundsÂ
- Work in a hybrid capacity to actively participate in meetings with operational staff, Treasury end users and developers to achieve agreement on requirementsÂ
- Demonstrate a strong ability to multitask, manage time and balance conflicting prioritiesÂ
- Provide training and support to Treasury end users and FRB production and application support team(s)Â as needed
QualificationsÂ
- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.Â
- 5+ years’ relevant experience performing Business Systems Analyst activitiesÂ
- Strong communication skills including written, verbal and presentation skills for a hybrid workforceÂ
- Discipline to operate independently and thrive in ambiguity with a generalist mindsetÂ
- Experience conducting requirements analysis, meeting with business owners, performing current state system analysis mapping, and designÂ
- Experience with Agile/Scrum iterative product developmentÂ
- Experience with testing applications including functional, user acceptance, system and integration, accessibility testingÂ
- Treasury or related finance experience preferredÂ
- Experience using Confluence and JIRAÂ
- Candidates with less experience may be considered at a lower pay grade or salaryÂ
- US Citizen or lawful permanent resident with three or more years of US residencyÂ
- Travel (up to 15%)Â

Salary:Â $110,800-$144,100
