We are seeking an experienced, dependable Drywall Finisher who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes while maintaining strong productivity and meeting established production goals. The ideal candidate has at least two years of residential drywall finishing experience and takes pride in producing smooth, professional-quality finishes while maintaining a high level of efficiency, safety, and productivity.

The successful candidate will be proficient in Level 4 or higher drywall finishing and experienced in operating semi-automatic drywall finishing tools. We are looking for a team player who can work independently, meet project deadlines, and maintain consistent workmanship in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Apply drywall tape, joint compound, and corner bead.
• Finish drywall seams, joints, and corners to a smooth, professional standard.
• Perform drywall patching, sanding, and surface preparation.
• Apply textures and achieve consistent finishes as required by the project.
• Operate semi-automatic drywall finishing tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Inspect completed work and correct imperfections before painting.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work efficiently to meet production schedules and project deadlines without compromising quality or safety.
• Follow job-site safety procedures and properly handle tools, equipment, and materials.
• Work cooperatively with other crew members and construction trades.
• Consistently achieve production and quality standards while minimizing material waste and rework.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of residential drywall finishing experience.
• Proficiency in achieving a Level 4 or higher drywall finish.
• Ability to operate semi-automatic drywall finishing tools, including mud boxes and corner flushers.
• Proficiency in taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing.
• Ability to identify and correct surface imperfections.
• Ability to perform efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting materials, standing for extended periods, and working on ladders when necessary.

Work Environment

This position involves residential construction and renovation projects throughout Marion County, Florida. The successful candidate will work in an active construction environment where productivity, teamwork, job-site safety, and quality craftsmanship are essential.

Candidates must be comfortable working at a steady pace, adapting to project demands, and maintaining professional standards while meeting established deadlines.
