B.H. Inc. (BHI) is searching for a full-time Asphalt Hot Plant Operator in Southern Utah County, UT to operate, monitor, and maintain hot-mix plant equipment for our regional paving operations. We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused operator who takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality asphalt mix while keeping operations safe, efficient, and well-maintained. We offer our Asphalt Hot Plant Operators a competitive wage DOE (depending on experience), plus ample overtime opportunities during the paving season. QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience operating an asphalt hot plant, aggregate plant, or comparable industrial production equipment (experience with an Astec Double Barrel hot plant is strongly preferred).
- Knowledge of asphalt production, plant controls, material flow, mix design requirements, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Strong commitment to safety policies, OSHA/MSHA requirements, environmental regulations, and job-site procedures.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and overtime as required by paving schedules.
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions and perform physical labor (including lifting heavy equipment components).
