Role Description 
Work as a member of the Structured Investments & Solutions team within WM’s Investment Solutions group. The team originates and distributes structured investments and other derivative strategies to MSWM Financial Advisors with the goal of providing end clients with risk-managed, capital markets investment and hedging solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Market structured investment and other derivative solutions to WM Financial Advisors (“FAs”)

• Support structured investments new issue deal flow and transaction lifecycle management

• Interface with FAs and clients on bespoke derivative solutions including educational presentations, strategy pricing, execution, and managing related support workflows

• Work with team management on data analysis, platform efficiencies and marketing efforts

• Develop relationships with FAs, WM Field employees, Investment Solutions colleagues and partners in Legal/Compliance/Risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., finance, accounting, math, economics)

• Ability to obtain Series 7 & 63 licenses

• Strong analytical skills

• Dynamic and effective communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work independently, prioritize work, manage time and meet deadlines

• Willingness and ability to operate well in a collaborative, team-oriented, dynamic sales and trading atmosphere

• Working knowledge of capital markets, particularly in transactional products and familiarity with derivatives is a benefit

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $70,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
