Job Description
Position Highlights
- Responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and ultimately certifying customer Point of Sale (POS) and Payment Management System (PMS) applications to the Elavon gateway and acquiring hosts
- Uses established requirements to create processes for external software developers to exchange payment transaction data with the Fusebox gateway, the Simplify payment application, and numerous direct acquiring host communication options
- As a subject matter expert, assists multiple internal and outside parties on industry best practices in order for our customers to achieve the lowest possible interchange on their transactions
- Part of that process includes compiling and reviewing very detailed information, of which small oversights can have large downstream impacts for multiple parties
- Recommendations are made to each customer based on the certification results to ensure a sound integration
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (technical discipline preferred), or equivalent work experience
- One to three years of experience in computer technology applications and analysis
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Ability to develop test schedules, review test plans, track test issues and report on test results
- Ability to analyze a business need and compile a general roadmap to see a certification to completion
- Proficient computer skills, including use of word processing, spreadsheet, graphics and presentation software
- Strong planning, project, organization and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal communication and verbal, written and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously, and work as part of a project team
Hybrid/flexible schedule
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $70,890.00 - $83,400.00
