Duties

While this position does not exercise financial, contracting, or procurement authority, it serves as a primary coordinator for Athletics financial support activities, ensuring actions are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with Academy, MARAD, and DOT policies and procedures. The position requires close collaboration with coaches, Academy departments, and external stakeholders while managing multiple concurrent projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment. The Program Analyst: Independently analyzes Athletics program trends, funding execution, and operational requirements to identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. Evaluates funding distribution across Athletics teams and activities to ensure alignment with program objectives and mission requirements. Serves as the Athletics program representative in discussions related to funding execution, travel operations, and resource planning. As assigned, analyzes Athletics-specific procedures related to program coordination and recommends improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Prepares briefings, reports, and presentations for senior Academy leadership and external stakeholders as required. The ideal candidate for this position is a highly organized and analytical professional with experience coordinating complex administrative, financial, and operational support functions in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate possesses strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while supporting numerous stakeholders. The position requires excellent communication skills, sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy in a deadline-driven environment. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills are essential to successfully support multiple NCAA athletic programs with competing operational requirements.

Requirements

A government contractor-issued travel card will be issued and must be retained for official business only. BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION: A background security investigation is required for all selected individuals. Appointment will be subject to the applicant's successful completion of the security investigation and favorable adjudication. Failure to meet these requirements will be grounds for termination. PROBATIONARY PERIOD: Applicants may be required to successfully complete a one-year probationary period (unless already completed).
