Job Summary
The Farm Hand is responsible for maintaining all property/fields under Company control.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Perform repairs on perimeter fencing as necessary.
- Report fence and field conditions to General Manager.
- Responsible for grass cutting and removal from all other areas.
- Operate the Plant Irrigation system at the direction of the General Manager.
- Maintain the Center Pivot Irrigation System according to manufacturer's standards or as Company policy dictates.
- Responsible for all company farm equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance, cleanliness, pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles used.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Prior experience in farming, cultivation, and harvesting of hay.
- Experience with hand tools and farming equipment required.
- Good working knowledge of minor maintenance of equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma preferred.
- Good communication skills both oral and written.
- Detail oriented; well organized; ability to multi-task.
- Good math skills; multiplication and division of whole numbers.
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
- Frequently required to move up to 100 lbs.
- Regularly required reach with hands and arms.
- Regularly required to adapt to changing weather conditions; flexibility in changing schedules.
Work Environment
Job functions will be carried out on plant property with high concentration of time on farm tractor.
