POSITION SUMMARY:Ā
āÆĀ
The primary focus of the role is to drive revenue, increase profit before taxes, and manage risk within their branch. Job functions also includeĀ maintainingĀ a superior and consistent level of client service, developing cohesive teams, providing consistent leadership, and assuming accountability for the Branchās results. In addition, a large emphasis will be placed on the recruitment and retention of Financial Advisors. Non-producing Branch Managers mustĀ be responsible forĀ fiscal management, personnel management and morale, business ethics and practices, and compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations. The Non-Producing Branch Manager will reportĀ intoĀ the Market Executive.Ā

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Ā

Product/Business Knowledge:Ā
- Has a thorough understanding of the Firmās products and those of its strategicĀ partners;Ā uses this knowledge to provide resources and directionĀ in order toĀ drive sales.Ā
- Knows where the resources are; able to direct the sales force to the right resources in an efficient manner as to make the sales process more efficient.Ā
- Effectively applies product/business knowledge to recruiting efforts; able to ātranslateā competitor offerings into Morgan Stanley Wealth ManagementĀ products, andĀ understand and explain how a recruit will be able to continue to help meet their clientsā needs.Ā

Sales/Marketing:Ā
- Seeks opportunities to grow business and drive sales by capitalizing on firm initiatives; focuses on building strong relationships with corporate departments and strategic partners to achieve the marketing efforts of the Branch.Ā
- Drives corporate marketing initiatives to help increase market share inĀ High Net WorthĀ households.Ā

Team Building:Ā
- Builds effective teams by constantly communicating relevant information onĀ a timelyĀ basis and conducting regular meetings.Ā
- Participates in Region and Market initiatives, including sales, hiring, recruitment, diversity, and community outreach.Ā
- Responsible for growing their branch through hiring, lateralĀ recruitingĀ and training.Ā

Leadership:Ā
- Leads by example by ensuring that the Branch Managerās office is consistently achieving theĀ
- objectivesĀ of the US Wealth ManagementĀ Group,Ā maintainsĀ a positive morale, has a strongĀ track recordĀ of growth, has ethical business practices, andĀ demonstratesĀ a commitment to diversity and respect for others.Ā
- Leads proactively byĀ identifyingĀ trends, potential areas of growth and weakness and addressing these areasĀ in order toĀ positively position the Region within the geographic market.Ā
- Leads Branch effortsĀ ofĀ Sales andĀ results.Ā
- Identifies key talent in the Branch, positions and develops that talent, and encourages those individuals toĀ participateĀ in the leadership of the Branch and Region.
- Leverages the resources of the Firm to achieve the highest level of success.Ā
- Acts as a coach and mentor for Financial AdvisorsĀ in order toĀ drive results.Ā

Accountability:Ā
- Accountable for the Branchās sales performance and financial performance.Ā
- Responsible for regulatory, legal and compliance issuesĀ including:Ā Risk management for the BranchĀ in regards toĀ monitoring sales, human resources, and legal and regulatory practices.Ā
- Responsible forĀ establishingĀ a core compliance model in offices under supervision.Ā
- Responsible for following supervisory procedures as outlined in the Branch Managerās Supervisory ManualĀ
- Responsible for executing the Annual Supervisory Plan.Ā
- Responsible for effectively communicating the status of performance and issues to the Market Executive
EducationāÆand/or⯠ExperienceĀ
- 5 or more years of related experience and/or training includingĀ demonstratedĀ success managing a substantial branch office or equivalent.Ā
āÆĀ
Licenses āÆandĀ RegistrationsĀ
- Active Series 7, 8 (or 9 and 10), 66 (or 63 and 65) and 3 registrations (Series 31 acceptable if branch conducts managed futures businessāÆonly)Ā
- Other licenses asĀ requiredĀ for role or by managementĀ
